Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Smoothie King DID NOT MISS today! That Presto Flatbread was so delicious I almost ordered a second one. And the 20oz smoothie for $9.99 combo? A STEAL. The staff was quick, kind, and on point the whole time. Y’all understood the assignment!

First time at Smoothie King and definitely my last. I’ve never been treated so rudely for absolutely no reason. The employee had a terrible attitude, didn’t greet me, barely spoke, and after I paid, he crumpled my receipt (and didn’t take my name down for my order), threw it away, and walked off like I didn’t exist. After that, I was completely ignored. I stood there for over an hour while other people were helped, with zero communication. Staff saw me waiting and still did nothing even after asking me “what are you here waiting for?” And ignored me right after responding. They continued to make everyone else’s order BUT MINE. It honestly felt like I was bothering them just by being there, like I’m the reason they’re unhappy in their workplace. Super unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be returning.

You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in delivering great service. It’s rare to see that level of consistency and dedication. I confidently recommend this location to everyone — you won’t be disappointed!

I visit this Smoothie King location several times a week after my workouts, and the experience is consistently excellent. Gavin is always polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. He does a great job making helpful suggestions and clearly knows the products well, which I truly appreciate. Sheila is also incredibly kind and welcoming. The two of them work very well together and create such a positive, efficient atmosphere. You are truly fortunate to have them on your team. I have never had a negative experience at this location. The service is consistently outstanding, and I highly recommend this Smoothie King to anyone looking for great customer service and quality products.

I’ve been to this Smoothie King location a few times now, and I always have a great experience. Gavin was very helpful both visits—he took initiative, stayed attentive, and managed helping customers while making smoothies seamlessly. Sheila was also incredibly sweet and helpful. The location itself is very convenient, and the staff overall is friendly and professional. One team member wasn’t in uniform, which stood out a bit since the rest of the staff looked very polished, but it didn’t take away from the great service. I love swinging by this Smoothie King—the staff is great and the experience is always positive.
